Our Little Explorers Nursery Ltd is an independent and private nursery. We opened in March 2023 offering places for children aged from 2 to 5. From September 2024 we are happy to offer places for children from 18 months to 5 years old.

Our Little Explorers Nursery is based in Ruislip Methodist Church hall. The nursery has its own outdoor area. Nursery hall is an open plan layout with a designed section for children aged 18 months to 2 years. Our primary goal has always been to nurture and provide an environment where children can feel safe to explore and learn about our diverse world.

Following a childs interests, we plan the next steps/goals for your child to achieve.

We lay the foundation for your child's future with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework, which sets the standards for all early years providers

"All early years providers must meet to ensure that children learn and develop well and are kept healthy and safe. It promotes teaching and learning to ensure children's 'school readiness' and gives children the right foundation for good future progress through school and life."

Staff at the nursery are looking after all children on a daily basis, however we have a key person system in place.

Every child that attends is allocated a key person who helps to ensure that every child's learning and care is tailored to meet their individual needs.

This is achieved through regular observations and assessment of children, using information gathered about their achievements, interests and learning styles to plan for their learning and development.

For more information about the key person role in our setting, please feel free to look at our Policy and Procedures section. Our Little Explorers Nursery follows strict and safer recruitment procedures and we make sure that all staff completed Pediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training and had a Burner Check (DBS).
